When in comes to applying the ideas we discuss in real life, few do it better than Ryan B. Anderson. Creator of the immensely popular Old Hollow Tree account on X and fellow author on Substack, Ryan has extensively documented his journey returning to his childhood home, gaining independence by creating online, and launching a family business. As such, I asked him to sit down with me to share what it’s actually like to apply INVICTUS principles to the real world.
In preparing for our interview, I realized that Ryan had followed nearly step-by-step everything that I outlined in my article How to Escape the Matrix: getting a remote job, building a digital audience, creating a business to pass down to your children, etc. Not only he is a wonderful example to follow, but he’s a wonderful man, living his life focused on what matters most and helping others do the same.
